The health and safety of our community is the United Way of Lincoln County's priority as we deal with the daily impact of the COVID-19 outbreak. 

We are monitoring the situation closely and staying in regular contact with local agencies, health organizations, and monitoring local, state and federal governments to keep up to date on how the current situation is being handled.

Governor Roy Cooper announced 3/27/2020 that parents who need food assistance for their children can text FOODNC to 877-877 to locate nearby free meal sites. The texting service is also available in Spanish by texting COMIDA to 877-877.
Additionally, No Kid Hungry has created a map of local school sites, community organizations and food assistance programs across North Carolina where families can access food. The interactive map can be viewed at nokidhungrync.org/covid19/ and is updated daily. Visit this link to learn more:
