The purpose of the United Way of Lincoln County Teen Board is to encourage teens in Lincoln County to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another. The Teen Board will also seek other opportunities to actively engage the community in a manner in which the needs of the community will be directly impacted. The Teen Board will pool the resources of a caring community and maximize the potential of those resources to make what we believe to be the best possible impact on the current needs and engage in a manner that allows us to identify emerging needs.
Meetings of the Teen Board are held the last Monday of each month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the United Way office. The membership of the Teen Board is open to all Lincoln County residents between the ages of 13 to 18. Members will agree and be expected to serve on committees of the Teen Board.
