The United Way of Lincoln County will hold its 2021 Day of Action on Thursday, August 12th. This year, the day will involve work at two locations: at the Communities in Schools Office (410 Linden Street, Lincolnton, Oaklawn community) and the West Lincoln Resource Center (located inside West Lincoln Middle School).
Volunteers are needed at the Communities in Schools Office between 1pm-4pm to sort and organize school supplies collected during the ongoing Stuff the Bus campaign. These will be used by Lincoln County staff and students as needed during the 2021-2022 school year. Volunteers will be working in the School Supply Closet located at the CIS Office.
Volunteers at the West Lincoln Resource Center will organize and stock non-perishable food items and school supplies collected during the Stuff the Bus campaign. Volunteers will be working in the Resource Center located at West Lincoln Middle School from 1pm-3pm.
This is a chance to get involved and help students and families in Lincoln County.
