Lincolnton, NC – Lowe’s in Lincoln County delivered big time on Friday, October 30, 2020 when they delivered a deep freezer, refrigerator, and mulch to Lincoln County Schools Central Services Office to store perishable food items for families and students in need, and to revitalize the on-site playground for use by students and families. Dr. Aaron Allen was on-site to graciously accept the Lowe’s Heroes Project donation. The United Way of Lincoln County and Lincoln County Schools is thankful to Lowe’s for an outstanding community partnership, and is excited for their continued partnership!
Lowes has a history of helping their local communities and continues to focus on serving the customers in the communities they serve. Through the Heroes program, Lowe’s employees strive to make a difference in the communities where they live and work, while connecting with their customers in and outside of stores.
Lowe’s continues to be a blessing to Lincoln County. Later this month, Lowes of Lincoln County is supplying the funding, man-power, and supplies to stock the shelves at the West Lincoln Resource Center (WLRC) located inside of West Lincoln Middle School with over $1000 worth of food and supplies for families and students in need. Additionally, Partners Behavioral Health Board is providing a deep freezer and refrigerator to house at the WLRC to store perishable food items for families and children in need. Together Lowes and Partners Behavioral Health Board are stocking the shelfs at the WLRC to help meet the needs of our fellow community members, and show their support for United Way of Lincoln County’s mission to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another.
Thank you, Lowe’s Heroes and Partners Behavioral Health Board, for the dedication and compassion you are extending to families in need in Lincoln County, NC.
